万人受けするような聴きやすさではないんだけれど、それ故にハマった時の奥行きは深い。欧州激情系のようなクラシカルな構成美とは違う、もっと泥臭い試行錯誤の痕跡がある。そして曲中の中で演奏の熱と共にテンポが変わっていくのも最高だ。メトロノームに合わせるのでなくバンド演奏のグルーヴがBPMを支配しているのだ。この感覚はCity Of Caterpillarが近く、閉塞感の中でも音に集中し、聞きながら何かを感じ、考える隙間が音にあり、モッシュしないけど激しく心を揺り動かすものがある。洗練されているUS激情に逆行したプリミティブ。
